A new dedicated Electric Vehicle consumer unit & circuit has been installed to serve the new charger – including a surge protection device. At the same time Ultra EV Steel Wire Armoured cable has neatly been cleated – which includes separate data cores to monitor the properties energy consumption and future solar generation also battery storage. This uses CT Clamps which feeds into the charger using just one cable & provides data to the app for monitoring and smart charging features.
The EV Charger has been fully inspected & tested using the latest Kewtech KT66DL device, including fault simulation for peace of mind. We have fully certified the project as well as a DNO & Building control notification.
