JDH Electrics inspected and tested the fixed wiring during an Industrial EICR in Ashford Kent to ensure the electrical installation is safe for continued use and complaint. At the same time any necessary remedial works identified. Some potentially dangerous issues were found at the time of the test including possible access to live parts, loose connections and circuit breakers being over rated for the cable sizes. All of the necessary remedial works have now been carried out.

Some of the elements inspected & tested include:

• Supply polarity and incoming earth
• Distribution Boards
• ‘Extraneous conductive parts’ – Earth bonding to gas & water & steel for example
• Each individual circuit, to include presence of CPC / earthing conductors and to confirm correct polarity
• Continuity of ring final conductors
• Distribution circuits to sub DB’s
• RCD opperation
