Our electrician’s JDH Electrics initially carried out a full & comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Report / EICR in Bury St. Edmunds prior to recommending and installing a new consumer units. We tested and inspected the electrical installation to make sure it was safe, and complaint. At the same time any necessary remedial works identified. The circuits have now been divided onto individual RCBO circuit breakers, including a type 2 surge protection device and allowing space for future additions

Some of the elements inspected & tested include:

• Supply polarity and incomming earth
• Consumer unit
• Earth bonding to gas & water
• Each individual circuit, to include presence of CPC / earthing conductors and to confirm correct polarity
• Continuity of ring final conductors
• Distribution circuit to shed & shed consumer unit
• RCD opperation

The full project has been inspected and tested, also certified with a building control notification submitted to the local authority.
