JDH Electrics have completed a 3-phase Historic Listed Building Rewire in Chippenham Suffolk. Galvanised cable tray has been installed in the loft space to support the cables off of the insulation. Sockets have been added throughout onto logcal, equally divided circuits also sockets for the Sonos speakers. Lighting has been rewired to include down lights, 2-way up & down controls for the stairway and extractor fans. At the same time we also rewired the heating using a Wago L60 wiring centre with Hive heating controls. We installed LED Tape for the kitchen cabinets and removed approximately 50 junction boxes from the old wiring! The property suffered from ‘Green Goo’ / cable cancer in areas, also loose connections and broken ring mains.
The electrical installation is protected with a large 3-phase surge protection device (SPD) helping to minimise the effects of lightning strikes and power surges.
